What is the normal voltage when the car is running?

In general for 12V battery, the voltage should be between 13.00V~15.0V. However, with intelligent battery management system (BMS), sometimes voltage could drop to 12.* volt, which is normal as well. So, it all depends on your own vehicle. Please refer to your car manual. Please also note that there are cars with 48V and electric cars are quite different in managing battery system.
