일반적으로 헤드라이트 등은 상당한 전류를 사용한다. 따라서 부식이나 합선등의 경우에는 차량에 좋지않다. 수분침투등은 항상 부식의 위험이 있기때문에 차량관리시 주의한다. BMW의 헤드라이트 모듈 TMS 기판이 부식되어 고장이 난 경우이다. TMS 모듈교체가 필요한 상태이다.
